In the Turkish Süper Lig, assistant coach at Antalyaspor under Leonardo, taking charge of the first team as caretaker — a spell in which the team raised its ratio to 1.75 pts/match, better than under the previous head coaches. Later, Head of Coaching & Assistant Coach at Fenerbahçe, alongside Phillip Cocu and Erwin Koeman.
In Spain, assistant coach at UD Almería in LaLiga 2 alongside Guti, qualifying for the promotion Play Off in 2019-20.
As head coach, has managed in the Cypriot First Division (Ethnikos Achnas, AEK Larnaca, Akritas Chlorakas) and the Polish Ekstraklasa (Lechia Gdańsk). At AEK Larnaca achieved the first and only qualification of the club to the UEFA Champions League.
